Resistance
What the Ω number means
Lower resistance takes more power and makes more vapour. Sub-ohm coils (under 1Ω) suit direct-to-lung vaping; 1Ω and above gives the tighter, cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw.

Stay inside the range
Each coil lists a safe wattage band, shown as the copper bar on every product. Start at the low end and step up until the flavour peaks. Past the top, the cotton scorches.
Coil life
When to change your coil
A burnt taste, gurgling or flat flavour means it's time. Most coils last one to two weeks. Prime a new one by wetting the cotton and letting it soak for five minutes before you fire it.
